[Public-list] Genoa Lead Question

I have a question regarding the proper routing of sheets to avoid unfair
loads.

Our Genoa sheets currently lead to a car about midway down the toerail
track, and then aft to a turning block on a second car near the aft end
of the track. From the turning block, the sheet bends 90 degrees inward
to the primary winch which is approximately abeam of the turning block.
I have noticed a bit of flexing of the toerail at the aft end of the
genoa track. I am going to try to tighten the bolts a bit in the
flexing portion of the track, but I wonder if anyone has a better way of
dealing with this load rather than trying to pull the toerail inward.

There are two substantial padeyes you move aft down the rail, I'm using
the forward one (which is more or less even with the secondaries) for
the spinnaker sheets at the moment and the aft pair are empty. Should I
move the spinnaker sheets aft and take the genoa turning blocks back to
the padeyes that currently hold the spinnaker sheets? This will mean
that the turning blocks for both spinnaker and genoa are a couple feet
aft of the winches, and will consequently mean that the sheets, rather
than turning 90 degrees inward to the winches, will have an inside angle
of more like 35-45 degrees between the lead from the sail and the winch.

Thanks in advance.
