[Public-list] solar panels and bimini

does any one out there know of an A30 owner that has installed a bimini
and or large (80watt+) solar panels and if so how well does it work.  I do
a lot of cruising and anchoring out and do not like to run my A4 to
recharge batteries so am looking for alternates to do this.  I am thinking
of installing a fixed bimini across the lazerette and installing 2 large
(27"x47") 80 watt panels on the top. Another option is to install a panel
on each side of the cockpit by replacing the wire lifeline section with a
ridged frame, and hinging the panels out when at anchor, this would also
allow the installation of lee cloths for wind and wave protection.  Any
thoughts would be helpful.
