[Public-list] shaft coupling removal

Yeah a gear puller would work too. The space is pretty tight. The set screw 
and keyway and years of 'being on' there is what is keeping everything 
together.

so i can use a gear puller and do the same ? right? only the set screw and 
rust hold the coupling to the shaft?

Seperate the flanges; remove/replace the bolts with longer ones; remove the
set screw on the coupling; place a socket (smaller than the shaft) between
the flanges; tighten te bolts which allow the socket to push the shaft out
of the coupling as the two flanges come together. It's easy.
