[Public-list] Ice box insulation

I installed an EZ Kold system.  http://www.e-zkold.com/ I chose the compact
air and water system but do not have the water part hooked up.  I had
several problems with the unit out of the box - wired wrong and a
refrigeration leak, but once those were solved the unit runs well.  However,
it runs way too much to be useful on 12v only.  This is why I am looking at
adding insulation.  

I installed the compressor unit on a shelf in the cockpit locker and the
freezer plate (which is actually a stainless box) fit perfectly at the back
top of the right hand side of the ice box.  I made the hull side into a
freezer and the left side is the fridge.  The fridge portion works well, but
the freezer is not cold enough to keep things unless they were already
prefrozen.  I hope that adding insulation will make this more efficient.
