Alan
thanks. That is a great help. If I go with Michigan Wheel, it takes
about 5 or 6 weeks to get the propeller. Campbell is a lot faster. Since
my launch date is around May 1, I have time. I will wait for your
observations. It sounds like you come close to Don's standard of 1800
RPMS. Weather in Northern Michigan: 3-5 inches of snow predicted, Temp
is about 25, but my fingers feel a lot colder. Can't hardly wait to
start woriking on the boat.

Dave,
I don't think that I could even reach 2000 RPM while under way. I think
my
maximum RPM is about 1800, and that is slightly higher than when I had
the
two blade prop installed. I cruise at 5 knots at 1200 RPM and 6 knots
at
around 1500 RPM. That's as close to hull speed as I like to run
comfortably.
The weather on the west coast is like spring these days, and I'll soon
go
for a spin and get a better evaluation. If you have a bit of time I can
get
back to you later with full range speed curve.
Cheers,
Alan
