A second question. Does anyone have a Dutchman Boom Brake on their boat?
Does it work as advertized on an 
A 30? Where is it attached?  -  on the cabin top? at the chainlpates?
pad eye on the deck? any problems with it or its operation?

also I forgot one question about the west marine ladder - are there
problems with the length of the stand offs on our boats? If so, how
solved?
