I used a Roto-zip to remove my icebox and a few other things, worked great. Get the right "blade". They look like drill bits but there are different ones for different materials. The drywall bit will not do much for fiberglass, but I found the heavy duty bit even cut through the glass in places where it was 3/4" thick. Just take your time and be prepared to go through a few "blades". Another nice feature is that the tool has a hookup for a shop-vac to suck up most of that delicious fiberglass .

Roto zip I believe is what you are thinking of.

I have not used that model but one similar and found that they work great on
sheet rock but not much more.

I have found that a Dremal Tool does better than I ever thought that it
would. Try one of the abrasive cut off disks. That should let you get close to
the sides and into the corners.
