I can't say since I haven't bought them yet. New chain is not high on my
priority list yet. My windlass is hand powered, so I will be right there
when the chain goes up or down.
Since they sit within the link....... Then again any mechanical marking that
won't be bothered by the windlass will be hard to see from 25'. If you
really need to be that far away, painted links may be the best bet.
