I have tried baby cream, paint, etc. on my prop and the only thing that 
stuck at all was an epoxy primer over which I applied bottom paint. It 
took longer than 10 minutes to wear off, in fact was some slight  
improvement over a year's time, but there were still barnacles, though a 
few less. I have my own private formula bottom paint... I think the Navy 
has some kind of treatment that the rest of us are not allowed to use.
