[Public-list] Missing Thru-hull?

On #500 I have exactly the same set up as Ed Schroeder describes. I find
that by running a hose into the bilge at the end of the season after
haul-out, all manner of dirt and grime gets rinsed out which helps keep
odors from the bilge to a minimum. In this fashion I also managed to
retrieve a favorite earing of my daughter who had lost it aboard last
summer. Not sure I would create the hole if it wasn't there but find it
handy for the reasons noted.
