[Public-list] rudder corrosion

Gord,

My boat has not had a zinc on the rudder parts either - I have owned it 29 
years and no problem. I do keep a zinc on the shaft.

My boat (# 275)  has never had a zinc on the rudder, at least in the 15
years I have owned it. Is this problem common? I have not noticed
galvanic problems. Should I put zincs on the gudgeons, the shoe, etc.?
