Use crimp connectors to protect the ends of the wire. And use a drip
loop so any water that does come down the cable drips off before
reaching the bared wire. This also gives you room for some shortening
over time.

I have sent emails to everyone who I have heard from, if you did not
receive an email from me and are interested in the group purchase,
please contact me by the end of the day (I will place the order tomorrow
morning). If you don't receive a reply, please call me at (410)
206-3577. We have 11 takers (Mike Lehman being tentatively two of them)
so we are well past the highest quantity discount point.

After this weekend, turns out I should replace 3 pair on the Dolce. Can anyone send me a contact email or name?

Thanks much,

Jonathan,
Caulking without removal is never very satisfactory. Removal is a major job but allows you to inspect/oil the underside of the teak. This REALLY needs to be done every 15 years or so and ON ONE ever does until the leaks get so bad they can't tolerate them.

I'm replacing some running rigging (the spin halyard I just replaced was
original equipment on the boat). Since questions about sizes and
lengths tend to come up, I started a page at
http://www.alberg30.org/collaborate/RunningRigging to hold the
information. Please add your recommendations to this page, and it can
become a helpful resource when people are headed to the store to buy line.
