One other thought that just came to me in a discussion with Gord Laco that you will have to consider is the effect on cockpit drains. With too much weight aft, you may change the flow to the drains and the cockpit will always have water in it. then, unless you have an exceptionally good seal on
the tiller deck plate, that water will end up in the bilge. We have jsut heard of what that does to batteries. Good luck.
