[Public-list] deck paint removal

I have discovered that the time has come to remove several years of old deck paint. I am intersted in what methods have been used over the years to get this job done. From what I can see the deck underneath is sound but lacking any significant non-skid surface. 

I am also intersted in ideas about how to recoat the deck once the paint has been removed.
