I don't get it!

Why move anything in the first place?  A good diesel should be more up top
then down below. If you want to re plumb then leave the hole and pipe
around  the motor. As for where it is ... it has got to be one of the MOST
accessible locations on the boat. I just launched the other day & lft that
through hull open with no hose yet attached. When the boat was in the wate
I gingerly jumped down the companoinway and shut off the ball valve I have
in place there in seconds. I shipped 3 pumps of water in then out with the
whale pump.

As for the other through hulls ... these boats have been around for 40
plus years ... why is it we have all of these NEO Marine Architects that
want to REDESIGN the boat? It Aint Broke so don't fix it!
