The Yanmar is right hand, so rotation will be the same, but you will need more prop.  The stock prop for the Atomic 4 was 13x7 RH two blade, with an 2GM Yanmar I needed a 13x13 three blade.  To see what I did in the replacement   You will probably have to also replace the shaft due to length issues.  Use a stainless shaft.

Remember you want a diesel to run at about 3/4 of its rated RPM for normal cruise.
