[Public-List] Alden 32 now upper Michigan Rendevous

Ok lets work toward it.  I have been promising myself every summer that the
next year I would do something significant with regards to a trip...every
summer I let work fill up my time and I miss another year.

I am thinking this year about doing a delivery down to Port Huron; doing the
Port Huron to Mackinaw Race (there may be two other A30's competing) then
cruising back to Midland with the family.

I used to get my passage making fix by doing the 'hard part' of trips out
bound then rendezvousing someplace up the bay with my wife and kids.  I take
the family on board and boot the passage/race crew off to take the car home.
Seems to have worked well over the years.

The big race part may be too much - but I most certainly want to do the
trip.  Now that I am thinking about it just sailing up there in company may
be nicer....
