Hugh,

I looked in my manual and did not find a capacity. Manifold, block and cylinder head all contain water, plus all the piping. I wouldn't expect the block itself to contain more than two or three quarts (U.S.) of water.

Good day,

Thanks to Mike, Andrew, Bill and Brian for your help and advice. I was able to locate all three drainage screws with no problem. Having found them, the challenge was finding a short enough wrench to fit in the spaces.

The drain screw on the water pump is at the 7-8 o'clock position and there is barely room to get in between the screw and the edge of the flywheel. Fortunately none of the ports were blocked with sediment and the water drained freely.

Just out of curiousity, how much water is actually contained within the block when the passages are all full?

Cheers,

Hugh
