Hi David, I haven't looked really closely at the shape of the metal mounts on my A-4, but it definitely has the stack of rubber pieces. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say about them. By the way, we've got near siblings; my "new" boat is #221 :-) --- Rachel 1170291165.0
