[Public-list] Re Grounding plate

So much time has passed,I've been in the water for two weaks, After the 
input on paint reducing the conductivity from our friend in Georgian Bay and 
a Captian and friend of a fishing boat in Newfoundland,who said all thier 
grounding plates are bare copper, I quickly ground all that old coatings off 
before launch the next day, My g,plate is 16" x 16" and connected to the top 
middle stay and the back stay. It wasnt a lot off work, it came with the 
boat,
Back On Board and loving it. Better late than never
