Speaking of finishes, what is the paint recommendation of the group for

At the annapolis boat show a couple of years ago, I saw varnish that was
specifically meant for cabin soles, and had a non slip quality, but a good
finish.
I have the name if you want it - just need to dig it up. let me know.

I tested Varathane on the v-berth sole 2 years ago and it is very easy
to use (water-based) looks good and 3 coats has held up well.
I just have to get around to the rest of the sole.

I used 3 coats of varathane good finish and is not slippery when wet.
