[Public-list] Centre Hatch on 1965 A30

I have one on 432. I assume it was put in by an owner - very nicely done
- looks factory installed. This has never been mentioned as a "liner
boat" improvement. I see to reason to think structural issues are a
problem.

A 1965 (Hull # not listed) A30 recently listed on
Yachtworld (see link below) boasts a "rare centre
hatch" on the cabin roof.

Has anyone heard of this centre hatch before?  Was
this something put in by Whitby Boat Works, or was it
installed by an owner?
