Dan, never stopped.  As an architect, it's kind of risky to impose wild 
ideas on my clients but, for me, half the fun of owning a boat, particularly 
with access to so many knowledgeable owners, is exploring different options. 
Who knows, one might actually work.  Did I mention the back porch comes with 
a barbeque (I thought about brick but I think Mike is right about keeping 
weight out of the ends)?
