Dan,

Back in February, J. Bergquist gave a presentation about changing his Atomic
4 for a Beta 16 diesel.  I created a podcast for this, which is available

He goes through a lot of the details you are asking about. It is a large
file, so you'll need a high speed connection to get it in any reasonable
amount of time.
