[Public-list] Finesse-It question for M Lehman

My hull is painted with Awlgrip, therfore do not need to add any wax or 
polish to protect it. If it was gel coat, I would follow the recommendations 
by 3M and use a wax. I would be careful choosing the wax since many times 
that is what yellows and discolors. Maybe someone on the list has a 
recommendation. I use Finisse-it about every 2 years when I haul out.

Dear Mike:

I followed up on your enthusiastic recommendation and bought some
Finesse-It II Finishing Material.  The instructions that come with it
say "to protect the finish, follow with an application of paste wax
or liquid wax."  I thought you recommended Finesse-It precisely
because it contained no wax (or silicone).  Any comments or suggestions?

As well, how often do you apply Finesse-It?  Annually, or more or
less frequently...?
