[Public-List] furling New Main Sail... Leech line

Gord,
  Thanks for the information.  Basically a traditional sail but heavier and with a leech line.  The leech line helps to shape an older sail.  Do you feel that it is helpful to use when the sail is new?  Or does using the leech line just prolong the life of the main when applied from the get go?
