Bobby,

Andante came with a simple setup which seems to work reasonably well,
and would use your existing mounting points. We have a double block
with a becket shackled to the end of the boom and a double block
shackled to the end of the sail. This creates a 4:1 at the end of the
boom, then the line is simply led forward to the cleat.

>Hey Yall,

>Currently, my outhaul consists of a line running from the clew around a
single block at the end of the boom then forward
>to a cleat on the boom. With this configuration, I don't seem to get
much purchase and I'm not able to really get the foot tight.

>I was thinking about putting in the 4:1 configuration indicated at on

>Any suggestions?
