[Public-List] Rudder Post leak

Hey Gary,
I had the same problem as indicated by Mr Dinwiddie. I fixed it by restuffing the stuffing box. The leak corroded the aluminum fuel tank located under the cockpit sole which subsequently developed a leak of its own. On my boat I was able to access the stuffing box thru an access in the port side cockpit locker. I just removed the fuel tank and it was quite easy to reach. Then I replaced the fuel tank with an 11 gallon Tempo. All's well so far..

Gary, there's a stuffing box for the rudder post on the newer boats.
