Hey thanks a lot to everyone for answering and helping decide. Next week a
surveyor is going to inspect the a30. This is the same guy that told me that
i would need around $4000 to get it to top shape. I think the boat is not
that expensive here in Chile. Here we have little options to shop and almost
every boat around 30ft is really expensive even if its old. Around 30 to
35K. One of the other things i need to install to the a30 is a diesel heater
because in Chiloe (south of Chile) its really cold. Gord you asked how this
boat got to Chile. I know this is the third owner and next week im going
to find out and yes it has a Universal 18hp diesel engine. I still havent
been able to find the hull number, anyone know where its located?
               George asked me about the main beam. It already has been
repaired with an iron flange that supports the top of the main beam . It has
about 12 screws with nuts (i dont know if i wrote that well) Seems to be
working but, is it enough? Im going to change all the shrouds and backstay,
and also all of the through hulls. I will probably change all of the
original teak with some other Chilean wood or oak, still dont know. Well
