Bill,

To replace the cutless bearing, remove the two bolts holding the stern 
tube casting, and *unscrew* the casting from the stern tube.  Many 
people get into trouble by trying to pry it off, but it's threaded onto 
the tube.

If you can get some good photos of the cutless bearing job, I'll make a 
web page out of it.
