[Public-List] Vent Fittings for Holding Tank Installation

Observations on a mast filled with.....

I wonder what impact that mast had on the righting moment?

I guess there are times when it's good NOT to have internal halyards (if you
do vent the holding tank up the mast AND empty the tank regularly AND have
internal halyards, do you have to wash your hands after raising the main or
just wear gloves; what impact does it have on the useful life of the
halyards).

I would like to get the name of the hand pump on that head (and I wouldn't
want to arm wrestle the user/pumper for money).

Do you think they noticed a change in the tone of their halyards when they
slap the mast on a windy day at the slip, a "thud" instead of a "ping"?

I love the concept of the "bottomless holding tank" and also want to buy
some land in the Everglades.

Wasn't there a disaster film back in the '70's called 'Towering Inferno?'
what would you call a mast full of sh*t?????
