I made myself a rule that I always wear my harness when I sail alone.  I was
involved in the recovery of a young man who had been lost in Lake Ontario
one April many years ago...we found him in June.  I watched the news story
on TV that night and vowed that I would never casually put my family in
danger of having to ID my body the way that fellow's had to look at his.
