[Public-List] Spring racing?

Many years ago I raced Checkmate in the Wed. night races, and Inka was
my closest competitor-at least boat characteristic wise. She had, and
has, a huge advantage in PHRF; I like to think that's because Albergs
have raced in class for so long, the skippers and crew get an almost
immediate response to 'go fast' experimenting, and that overall
experience over the years has resulted in a rating that is not
consistant with other PHRF boats.

That said, we always did well in the Miles river fleet, and, even though
Checkmate is pretty well equipped race wise, I think Wooshkeetaan would
do well. We raced about 50/50 spinnaker/non spinnaker.
