[Public-List] Transducer mounting, fluid surround or not

My A30 came with a Hummingbird depth/sounder and according to the 
installation manual the transducer can be mounted directly to the inside 
of the hull using slow cure 2 part epoxy (Like West) with no mention of 
a liquid medium in a container .
