[Public-List] Length of anchor roller

Greetings,

I know that there has been discussion on the list regarding installing an anchor roller. However, I cannot recall any discussion on the length that the roller has to extend beyond the bow in order to carry specific kinds of anchors.

How far forward to people have their roller extending? Presumably it needs to extend less for a plow versus a danforth.

What kind of anchor makes sense for the bow position? What size? I was thinking a 22lb CQR
