I put two Harken 32's which are more than adequate. I also moved the old
bronze winches back to the aft pads. I purchased a used #16 Lewmar and
mounted it on the coach house pad (the pad is on the starboard side on the
liner boat) for my main halyare. I used a ???cluch as wll...Anyway it all
works great. Best investment for my wife and I and our ability to manage
sails in all conditions.

Hello All:

I'm thinking about getting a pair of self tailing winches for my A30
and I'm looking for recommendations (brand and size).  I'm also
thinking of running my main halyard to my cockpit and installing a
winch and cam cleat on the cabin top.  I'd appreciate knowing if any
of you have done the same and what hardware you would recommend
(particularly the size of the winch).
