Good day Don,
I didn't say it because I wasn't aware of it. I had assumed, apparently incorrectly, that the website and list were paid for by advertising and sponsorship that appears on the site. Thank you for letting me know that I am wrong. Like Jeffrey, I am too far away from either the Chesapeake or the Great Lakes to participate in either association. If I lived closer I would join the GLAA but I can't afford the airfare from Newfoundland to attend one function let alone all of the many that might be of interest. Consequently I, too, can see no purpose in having an annual membership in either. If I am not welcome here please remove me from the list. I am sorry to have offended you.
