>From what I know, it is PURE QUACKERY! If you have metals flowing in your 
fuel, there are more problems than a magnet is going to help.
The only thing diesel fuel needs is a biocide. Recently I've been convinced 
to start adding a lubricity agent, but my diesel is from 1982 before they 
started removing sulfur. Add a good filter and you're set.
