[Public-List] Mooring Pendants

I use one 15' 3/4" nylon pendant with an eye splice around one cleat, and a 
20' 3/4" nylon straight as the slack back up on the other cleat; both with 
galvanized thimbles at the mooring.  I use leather chafe gear where it passes 
through the chocks.  
This has withstood hurricanes well; I just splice a new set every year, and 
sleep well at night.
