[Public-List] Foul weather gear

I used to advise people to buy the best gear they can afford; that is for
safety as much as for comfort.

I would advise staying away from breathable stuff; it will leak.  The best
is to go for heavy waterproof (I think Gill is a good maker) and buy it
loose so that you can ventilate it occasionally to prevent condensation.
