[Public-List] Stern Rail for Ladder

I'm looking for a stern rail.  If you can get the price down I certainly would buy one.  How much would be the shipping to CA?
I've been asking myself how hard can it be to make one myself?  Get some SS pipe and bending tools and go for it.
It would be cool to be able to do some quantity buying.

Thanks Dave,

I contacted them and learned: 6 leg welded, stern rail (open in the middle
for a ladder) for an A30 is $985 for single horz. rail & $1058 for a double
rail.  Welded single rail pulpit w/ 4 legs  is $745.  20% off if you order
both which I guess means, if you really want the stern, adding the bow only
costs $383. 4 week delivery time.  I asked about discounts for a group
purchase and was told 20% off was best they could do.  If anyone is
interested in a group purchase I can bargain ("No really, how much for 8 to
12 bow or stern rails made in January [has to be better than ice fishing]?")

Roger

Tops in Quality in Michigan has the measurements. I suggest you check them
for accuracy. I looked at a stern ladder for my boat but did not proceed
because we have tight length limits in our marina. I understand they
produced much if not all of the pulpits, etc. on our boats.

Good luck. I  would be interested in finding out what you discover.

Hi all,

Things are progressing so rapidly on the redo of good old #148 that, after
only 5 years, I can now leave her outside without covering the topsides with
a tarp.  I eventually plan to have a stern ladder and would like to
investigate installing a "split" pushpit instead of the single piece
original.  Can anyone please recommend a company that already has the
measurements for an A30?

Thanks,

Roger
