Hi Larry ;
    If this worked well, every electric fork lift would be powered by 8  
D cells. because it would be so efficient. There are none of those that 
I know of that work in fork lifts and in fact it takes about 1800 lbs  
of battery to have a 3000 lb fork lift last the 8 hour shift and from 
experience , the last 2 hours are not strong.  Whatever recommendation 
they give you check out the numbers very carefully. Energy is energy and 
it can neither be created nor destroyed  but there are a bunch of sales 
folk out there who would have you believe in miracles!
