[Public-List] Removing the Mast Step on older boats

Joe,

Your boat is pre-liner correct?

Was it your boat that had the mast step removed? Did the older boats have
metal plate bedded under the mast step?  Are there not at least two nuts
under those bolts? I've got two big bungs under my mast beam that look to
line up with two of the bolts.
