The boat aphorism is: if you have to ask, you can't afford 
it. Hope this helps :)

I really, really hate to spend money. The thing is, the 
only time I like to spend money is when I spend it on the 
boat. What is helpful about the Alberg in this regard is 
it's built like a battleship; once you get past a certain 
level of yearly maintainence, the spending is optional. It 
will sail with the current sails, and old 8 track tape 
makes great tell tales-so much for electronics.

Just what are you saving your money for, anyway? Bet it 
won't be as satisfying as a cruising/class racing 
sailboat.
