I forgot to add;

We have a friend who has often joined us on fall cruises... His boat is
fitted with a kerosene stove.  He says that his stove won't heat the boat
and he can't really tell the difference between when it is on and when it is
off.  I think that the ability of a woodstove to deliver a lot of heat
quickly (besides the romance associated with a solid fuel fire) is the main
argument in favour of them.
