John,

Having sprayed my boat with Awlgrip, I would recommend Awlgrip 2000 which can be blended and buffed. Make sure you have the the skills to perform this task the spray dust can cause nerve damage and other health issues.

When I redo the Alberg I am leaning toward Signature Paints, you can spray it or dry roll it. Once the product is dry it can be wet sanded or buffed with compound. My friend did his cockpit with this material and it looks great 3 years later.

I have worked with Imron as well and decided to go with Awlgrip. Imron is more sensitive to temps and humidity then Awlgrip you may be able to find some info on line.

Any other questions please ask, I received a quote to paint the decks and hull of the Alberg in 97, which was $25K.
