[Public-List] Mast Bottom Thing

Happy Spring Everyone,
 
Well, it was happy until I noticed that the mast bottom thing (I don't know what to call it) is cracked in several places.  This thing is the bottom piece of the mast that is part of the mast when you take the mast off the step.  It's the thing that has holes in it to screw down into the metal step. It may have cracked when I was jacking the mast beam last year to do the mast beam repair.     
 
My question - Does anyone have any notions about where to procure such a thing and  should I replace the step as well?  The step plate looks awfully corroded.  Also, does this thing fit inside the mast like a sleeve?   
 
Any notions would be most appreciated!
