In Canada we have a home hardware/auto parts chain that is a national
institution called Canadian Tire (Crappy Tire in common-speak)
There is a joke we tell each other that goes like this:
How do you tell a Canadian from an American?
When an American is depressed, he drinks.
When a Canadian is depressed, he goes to Canadian Tire and wanders the isles
looking at power tools.
