Jeff,
Love the pictures. Looks like you are doing a great job. I noticed you
painted the entire cockpit the same (non slip) color. What a great idea, I
wish I had thought of it too. I would have saved all that masking of the
cockpit seats. Next time I paint the boat (like that will ever happen
again) I think I will just dip the whole thing in a big vat of bottom paint.

Ed,
I've got a whale pump mounted to the stbd cockpit wall, with blocks to push
it out a bit. Hole with cover on seat above.
I've got a picture here (with the pump unbolted from cockpit wall for
painting):

I don't remember any issues with exhaust hose, but the blocks of wood are
needed to position the pump under the slot in the seat for the pump handle.
