[Public-List] Wire reel winch - information needed

Dave,

I am not going to tell how the wire is attached to the drum until you  
fess up on the mysterious reason  you alluded to.  It sound like a  
good sea story.

P.S.  For what it is worth,  those winches make really good door stops.
